Do you see some elements in the global community that gather at Vujuday that mirror that of Desert Hearts Festival?” I've never worked so hard in my life and it feels incredible.” The constant partying on tour has taken a back seat to a much more professional approach, and the results have been amazing. In the last 6 months I started a new morning routine, working out five days a week, meditating everyday and eating healthy. But through all of the chaos for the first time in my life, I'm really dedicated to living as healthy as possible right now. I'm also about to get married to my long time partner in May, so I've got a lot of stuff on my plate. While pretty stressful, I know ultimately it's a huge move for me to get some new energy and inspiration from the beach. Any big projects or life achievements you're chasing outside of playing shows?” Reynolds: “A lot of your time on tour is in the face of the public. It represents love, freedom of expression and following the path towards light.” A top hat became my signature look when I DJ as it always reminds me to live and breathe all the things I've learned from Burning Man and the Counterculture. I came home completely inspired to always express myself as best as I could through music, art and fashion. At some point during that Burn, I was wearing my green jacket and top hat and had the realization that that was the most Me I've ever felt in my life. I also crafted my first top hat, which I thought would be fun to wear on The Playa. I probably spent 20 hours cutting and glueing patches of green fur onto a sport coat. Mikey Lion: “Before I went to my first Burning Man, I spent weeks crafting a bunch of unique outfits from scratch. Lee Reynolds: “What was the one monumental moment that helped influence the Mikey Lion persona we see on stage and how do you carry this out into your everyday life?” While in Barbados, attendees can take advantage of the island’s many activities, such as scuba diving, embarking on an island safari or imbibing on a rum tour. The event boasts luxury villa rentals along with accommodations at hotels the festival has partnered with for the festival. Attendees can also return to the Cornwall House again this year to watch the sunrise while looking over the Eastern Coast of Barbados, or they can keep dancing on the beach and enjoy the festival venues located there. Some of the returning venue highlights from last year include Bellevue Plantation, which is a 100-acre property built in 1735 that is complete with stunning gardens, polo fields and a pool. The five day music festival will fuse island luxury with performances by some of the top names in house and techno, including Damian Lazarus, Danny Tenaglia and Lee Burridge.
